Supporting Chiltern Arts with a full website rebuild focused on usability, engagement and a clearer path to ticket purchase. The existing site needed a more intuitive structure that made it easier for audiences to discover events, understand the festival offering and complete bookings with confidence. A key challenge was modernising the look and feel while preserving the festival’s character, migrating all existing data, and ensuring seamless integration with their ticketing system.
The project also needed to strengthen search visibility, improve accessibility of content, and create new functionality to support competitions, educational initiatives and archival storytelling.
Website Development
A redesigned WordPress website was planned and built to provide a clearer, more user friendly experience for festival audiences. The site structure was reorganised around key user journeys, making it simpler to browse events, learn about the festival and purchase tickets. The result is a responsive, well structured website that performs consistently across devices and better serves both new visitors and returning attendees.
Ticketing Integration and Customer Journey
All existing content, customer data and current ticket holders were successfully migrated from the previous website. The new site integrates seamlessly with the festival’s event ticketing system, creating a smoother and more intuitive purchase journey. Clearer navigation, better event presentation and simplified checkout pathways reduce friction and make it easier for audiences to complete bookings.
Modernised Visual Identity
The design refreshed Chiltern Arts’ digital presence with a cleaner, more contemporary aesthetic while still reflecting the cultural and artistic character of the festival. Updated layouts, imagery and visual hierarchy give the site a more professional and engaging feel, helping to position the festival as relevant, dynamic and welcoming to a broad audience.
Competitions and Audience Engagement System
A flexible system was developed to allow Chiltern Arts to run competitions, collect entries and display winners directly on the website. This gives the team greater control over audience engagement initiatives while reducing administrative effort and keeping participation visible to visitors.
Scalable Foundation for Growth
The website was built on a flexible platform that allows Aristeon Growth to expand in the future. Additional services, content or functionality can be added as the business grows without the need for a complete rebuild. This provides a future proof digital foundation to support the company’s long term growth and marketing efforts.
ListenUp Knowledge Hubs
Dedicated knowledge hub pages were created to support the ListenUp initiative, helping young audiences explore classical music and engage more deeply with the festival. These hubs organise educational content in an accessible, structured way that is easy to navigate and expand over time
Past Festival Experience Page
A new Past Festival experience section was developed to celebrate the festival’s history. This archival space showcases previous events, performances and highlights, strengthening storytelling and giving visitors a richer sense of Chiltern Arts’ legacy and impact.
SEO and Search Visibility
The rebuilt site was optimised for search engines with improved structure, metadata and keyword focused content. These enhancements support stronger visibility on Google, helping the festival reach new audiences and attract more organic traffic.
Ongoing Usability and Growth
The new platform is designed to be easy for the Chiltern Arts team to manage and update, supporting future festivals, events and initiatives. The rebuild provides a stable, scalable foundation that can evolve alongside the organisation’s ambitions.
